Thanks Elaine for yet another thoroughly absorbing post. My desktop is covered

in saved articles from you to be read " properly " when I get a moment.

 

I don't use butter or margarine and have not done so for years - but I do use

Ghee for baking and cooking as well as olive oil (a good one of course), and

Tahini spread on sandwiches/toast (in fact I'm a bit addicted to the tahini if

I'm honest).

I would be interested in your comments on Ghee. Would there be the same problems

in the extraction process used to create the Ghee by the manufacturer. And

please don't suggest I make my own as they do in the Indian cookery books - did

it once!!!
