Heart Document

Hi,

I will post a heart document for what it is worth.

Application of Flax Oil to Heart

problems

A few years ago a group of French researchers was attempting to find

the

best diet for preventing Heart problems.

They turned to the people of Crete, who have the lowest rates of heart

disease and cancer in the world. What they found is baffling American

science. The Cretans eat more fat than any other people in the world

Their

diet is almost half fat; 35% Olive Oil and 15% animal fat. Although

Crete

and southern Italy are only a few hundred kilometers apart and both eat

a

Mediterranean diet the Cretans have 90% fewer deaths from heart attacks

than

their Italian neighbors. They eat as much animal fat as the citizens

of

Finland who have the highest rate of heart problems in the world.

The French doctors took 605 volunteers who had had heart attacks and

divided

them into two groups. One group went on the medically approved diet

and

the other group went on the Cretan diet. These ate a significant amount

of

meat, fish, wine, olive oil and a significant amount of Purslane and

English Walnuts, the only real difference in the two diets.

The results were astounding. Those on the medically recommended diet

had 6

times as many deaths as those on be Cretan diet. The key to the

successful

Cretan diet was the high amount of alpha-Linolenic acid as a result of

eating Perslane and English Walnuts. Flaxseed oil has 56% of this same

material.

Sudden death from heart attacks is due to rhythmic disturbance called

ventricular fibrillation. Omega 3 fatty acid has a strong antiarrythmic

effect. There were no sudden deaths in the Cretan diet group, and

there

were eight sudden deaths in the medically approved group.

About two and a half years ago a good friend of mine had a bad heart

attack

and a triple bypass was done. He immediately began using flax oil and

has

gotten along fine. The doctor said he had done the best of anyone he

had

ever treated. A former sister-in-law has had the same experience.

A few weeks back a man called us from Idaho to get information on the

effect

of Flax oil on cancer. He knew what it would do for heart problems.

He

told me that he was seventy-eight and a year ago he was in a doctor's

office

with a 95% heart blockage on one side and a 90% blockage on the other

side.

He said the doctor wanted to do an angioplasty but he wouldn't allow

it.

The doctor told him he might not make it home. He said he went home

and

began using flax oil and today he is fine. His color is good, he does

anything he wants to and he has not been back to the doctor's office

since.

One of my wife's brothers has had a bad heart for several years. He's

disabled and has real problems. He started to use Flax oil but the

doctor

warned him against it because it contains fat.

Actually, there are fats that hurt and fats that help.

A short time ago I either saw on the internet or another publication

that

the melting point of cholesterol is over 300 degrees. If one uses

lecithin

the melting point becomes 190 degrees. If one uses lecithin and

flaxseed

oil both, cholesterol will become liquid at less than body temperature.
