There are many others. I was referencing the conversion factor from mm Hg to psi. (pounds per square inch) To change mm Hg to psi, multiply the mm Hg by .02 ( actually this value 0.01934 ) There exist two different psi types. One is psig and the other is psia. psig means psi gauge and psia means psi absolute. The point is, the mm Hg is a very small unit for real world use. Who would want to work with such small units? Only scientist and medical people, and others who must work with very small quantities would normally be concerned with mm Hg and other small units like mili grams and grains. And of course people who must be concerned with blood pressure. This page will reference the different units and actually convert from one to others. http://www.convert-me.com/en/convert/pressure If you want to see some really far out definitions of units, take a look at the " International System of Units " . The following definitions of the SI base units are taken from NIST Special Publication 330 (SP 330), The International System of Units (SI). See the Bibliography for a description of SP 330 and other NIST publications on the SI, and online access. http://physics.nist.gov/cuu/Units/current.html When I used to run a Bulletin Board Service, I had ANSI files to show all this in vivid color before the days of WinDoZZe.
