I'm not Jasmine but I am so pleased with my experiments with

cayenne pepper (as a tincture) that I feel obligated to post

my results in the hopes that others will benefit. This was

My cayenne pepper tincture of is made by mixing lots of powdered red

pepper and grain alcohol in a blender, 500cc at a time. After about 10

minutes of blending, the slurry is filtered by pouring it into a short

length of a nylon stocking and twisting the stocking until all the

liquid is squeezed out. The resulting dark red tincture is allowed to

sit in a paper towel covered container for several days until the

alcohol has evaporated.

For use, I mix about a teaspoon of the tincture with either iced

ozonated water or cold tomato juice, in a 500cc glass, twice a day.

Very tasty, especially with the tomato juice.

Using this regimen for the last 6 weeks, my at-rest blood pressure has

dropped from 140/85 - 145/90, to 115/70 - 120/75. No change in diet,

no change in exercise (non-existent). No unusual physiological changes

were noticed during that time, except that I seem to be able to sleep

an extra hour or so at night. At my age, that alone is a true

blessing.

YMMV,
