Guest guest
I put a raw, organic, OM3 fed, egg yolk in a protein drink, every 5th day. I was putting a tbs of flax meal in this drink, but read a statement by a doctor, saying that flax should never be eaten raw, because it contains a harmful substance which is inactivated when flax is heated. He recommended putting cooked flax meal/see into bakery items, etc. This is really a problem, because it doesn't leave me any way of using meal, and tempts me to go back to the oil, which has a bunch of problems of its own, among them, Erasmus' claim that flax oil starts to go rancid, often before it reaches the food market, and has to be used within a week. He also claims that nearly all of the flax oil capsules on the market are rancid. I'm having a problem with my protein drink. Everything you can find, has something wrong with it. Many authorities claim that soy is bad, the Rice and Oat milks on the market are loaded with sugar, canola oil, carrageenan, all of which are said to be harmful. These drinks are not only almost always too high in sugar, but are almost always too high in fat. Every kind of protein powder has been condemned by one researcher or another. Soy protein is bad for you, egg and milk proteins are bad for you, whey protein is bad for you. Some doctors believe in putting a raw egg yolk in with your protein drink, others say it shouldn't be done. And on and on. - " Wayne Fugitt " <wayne Thursday, October 03, 2002 5:24 AM Bush Needs a Drink > Morning John, > > >birth; I doubt that Prozac or booze can be said to be much responsible for > >his actions; though I think the guy needs a drink.......badly. > > Yes, he needs one of the super protein drinks like many of us make. > > I have had the problem of finding ways to eat ground flax seed.
