Is Prozac behind Bush's bravado?

Don't you think Bush exhibits many signs that he is operating on Prozac

reasoning? I think he needed a lot of pharmaceutical support when he quit

the sauce, and he's now on Prozac. Do we as citizens have to accept the

word of an alcoholic on a homicidal Prozac mission?

vaccines, withholding our vitamins and herbs are not political topics? This

is about antidepressants, with a sidebar that the Dept. of Defense, Inc.

might be pharmacologically driven.

Donna, Think this trough. Do you know for a fact that Bush is on a

homicidal mission, or that he is alcoholic? Or that if he was alcoholic

or on Prozac, ift would impede his performance? Could it be that there

are many people behind the scenes helping Bush run this country? And

some of them have interest in seeing the Republican party flourish in

the next election -- as a result of appeasing the American public with

Saddam's head on a platter?

Well.... My theory probably has holes in it too. I am prone to

assumptions myself. The problem with bringing our theories and

assumptions to a list like this is: We will never know the real truth,

and we can only make assumptions. All you can do is try to find others

who feel the same as you, but that 1. will not solve anything, and 2.

will only succeed in helping you commiserate, but you will still be

operating from an assumption (AKA = delusional thinking).

Why not volunteer for a political cause or party -- and use your

energies productively.

It's a good idea that this board not discuss politics. May I add that politics,

sex, and religion make for very volitale conversation and they should be refined

to boards specifically directed at such. If not, I will address such reducio

absurbdum from a person who is on what exactly themselves?, and then

.

Uh huh, so thinking that your government trying to stop a madman from

releasing weapons of destruction against your country, because you " think "

he " might " be taking Prozac is not delusional??????

I agree with Donna, let's drop this line of discussion or get prepared for a

free for all. Trust me, not everyone thinks like you do.

Dear JoAnn,

It doesn't and thanks for bringing it to everyones attention.

All members,

Please do not post any political, religious, or commercial posts to

this group.

You are all welcome to your personal beliefs, but not here. The focus

of this group is nutritional and natural healing and if we completely

solve that we can then pick another subject.

Our plate should be suffeciently full with our own subject here. How

can we help each other with health if there is divisivness over all

of these extraneous issues.

Our intention is for all to benefit from the discussions here and not

to limit the groups membership, but If we have posts in these areas,

we will have to disenroll anyone who doesn't follow the rules and

diverts the groups purpose.

Thanks,

Well, whatever we think about the appropriateness, on this list, of

hypothetically discussing the possible effects of Prozac on our current

president, it appears to me, that understanding Bush's actions will be

facilitated by pondering his upbringing and economic circumstances since

birth; I doubt that Prozac or booze can be said to be much responsible for

his actions; though I think the guy needs a drink.......badly.

We all know that only fools take Prozac. I would suspect that

more politicians use it than

normal people.

Seems that issue has been overdone for this list.

This is a delicate issue here. There is always some connection between

health and politics, if only because politicians have a profound influence

on health policy, health insurance, and will determine whether an

international system like Codex Alimentarius, may ultimtely force us all to

go to a doctor to get prescriptions for vitamins manufactured at

concentrations over the RDA. Politicians are also empowerd to force

vaccinations on us. Aren't these legitimate matters for discussion on our

list? I'm not sure; we all have different views.

On the other hand, the composition, use and abuses of drugs like Prozac, are

certainly health related, and I can't see how one can reasonably argue that

discussions concerning pharmaceuticals are inappropriate on this list.
