Dangers of Genetically Altered Foods-Starbucks Coffee

Did anyone notice all the media attention Starbuck's received this

week for the protest over their using milk with Bovine Growth Hormone

& other genetically modified foods in their coffee stores?

Sorry, but in ways I have to say what a crock. Yes, I am thrilled

the word about Bovone Growth Hormone in Starbucks milk was

publicized. Though Mrs. Joe Blow that decided to skip her Starbucks

fix that day I am sure went on to the supermarket that very same day

& bought genetically modified milk to put over her kids cereal.

*DUH* So, Starbuck's happened to receive a public flogging that day

& BUT the audience is still really pretty oblivious as to what they

are consuming elsewhere.

Knowledge has to come from somewhere and if this stops one person in their

tracks and makes them think about what they are buying, it will have been

worth it - those of us who do know about the dangers of purchasing

inorganic/gmo laden foods must spread the word and hope that some will

listen., It is all we can do, eventually we will then be the majority and

not the monority.

---I agree! The way I see it these demonstrations at least increases

public awareness!! It seems that the average person isn't even

remotely aware of the implications of ingesting these cockroach-

infested *foods*(?). The Swedish labs that recently examined some

gmo-laden foods found a substance similar to that of

the DNA found in cockroaches. According to some very reliable info

circulating on the web there are three substances in gmos, one which

could not be identified (the cockroach substance). Those Swedes are

way ahead of us in this area. Did you see their study on french

fries? This was one of the main segments on the news last evening.

I applaud these Swedish scientists

for caring!

P.S. Little wonder though, as they are among the few that ban

hydrogenated oils from their store shelves!

This tells me quite a bit about the Swedish people

and their healthcare system.
