In 1993 the University of Texas researchers analyzed the results of 11

different studies that had tracked the effectiveness of condoms to prevent

transmission of 'HIV' non-specific antibody response. The average condom failure

rate in the 11 studies for preventing transmission of the putative 'HIV' was

31%.

" Latex allergy is a very serious and potentially lethal condition that

affects millions of Americans "

In the fall of 2000, the General Assembly unanimously passed a

resolution introduced by Senator Robert J. Mellow, urging the Governor to

appoint a committee to study allergic reactions associated with natural rubber

latex.

" Latex allergy is a very serious and potentially lethal condition that

affects millions of Americans, " Mellow said. " The state should make an effort to

educate its citizens, particularly those whose work demands use of latex

products, about the dangers posed those with this allergy. " Since 1998, in an

yearly effort to help promote public awareness, Pennsylvania legislators have

passed a resolution, also introduced by Mellow, declaring " Latex Allergy

Awareness Week "

The explosion of anaphylaxis and serious allergic reactions to latex

gloves and other medical equipment shocked physicians, researchers and

regulatory government agencies because, quite simply, prior to the mid-1980s,

latex allergy was virtually unheard of.

FACT: - More than 400,000 requests for a June 1997 NIOSH Alert,

" Preventing Allergic Reactions to Natural Rubber Latex in the Workplace, " were

received within two weeks of its publication.

Estimates are that 18 million Americans are allergic to latex.

Latex allergy symptoms vary -- from itchy hands or eyes, to asthma or

anaphylaxiz, and even death.

THERE IS NO CURE; THERE IS NO DESENSITIZATION currently available for

latex allergy. We can only medicate to help decrease symptoms.

URINARY TRACT INFECTION/CONDOM USE

Condom use, particularly condoms coated with the spermicide nonoxynol-9

(N-), increase the risk of urinary tract infections in women. The increase may

be 2-3 fold. (Journal of General Internal Medicine 9(Suppl 2)29, April 1994) ED

- Urinating immediately after marital relations reduce the likelihood of getting

a urinary tract infection.

of its grantees to state in any sexually transmitted disease or condom-related

information materials " the effectiveness or lack of effectiveness of condoms in

Hasn't Dr. Lorraine Day (sp?) been preaching for years, & even wrote

a book, about condoms not being a true safe gurd against HIV/AIDS?!

For those that are night owls she has been heard from time to time

over the years on Coast To Coast Radio with Art Bell. I have also

heard her upon several other talk radio programmes across the nation.

Is this essay on the web? It appears to have hotlinks, but

they do not work from the e-mail you sent, Kelly.
