So what do all of you think about the West Nile virus? I live in

Illinois, which has been hit the hardest, so it's kinda scary around

here.

I'm particularly curious about the diagnosis of West Nile. How exactly

do scientists/doctors know, OTHER than symptoms, that it is West Nile?

I don't know that, but I know there is NOT a test to determine if it's

present in donated blood. Might be another catch-all diagnosis, huh?

I know I won't get it or any virus because I drink water (almost

exclusively) laced with stabilized oxygen --- a particularly strong brand.

I don't sell it and the lady I get it from doesn't have a web site, so is it

safe to tell you the brand? I have settled on Ion by Arloxy. It's stronger

and seemingly more effective than the other 4 brands I've tried IMO. I have

dogs, a cat and a duck. I put it in their feed and water too.

We have West Nile virus down here in New Orleans as well.

From what little I have observed, those getting the virus have poor

diets & probably have poor immune systems.

we had 2 cases locally this week. A woman in her 40's in the area of King of

Prussia, PA who was treated and doing well, and a woman in her 70's in Philly

died today.

Hi Mindy! My view is that the excessive media attention is

unwarrented. I think there's a strategy involved, to scare people into

accepting vaccinations or consenting to malathion sprays of

neighbourhoods. Exotic viruses like this may have origins in

laboratories. The objective? The effects of vaccinations (just read

the contents & be sick), and neurotoxicity of malathion, ought to

clarify. Are there ways to be safe? I don't honestly know, but you'll

likely get more responses, and some good suggestions of where to look on

the Net. Work that " search engine " ! Good luck! Steve

I guess it depends upon how you look at it, though OVER ALLY when

looking at the WNV as a WHOLE I would not consider IL as the hardest

hit state.

I agree that it seems to be the already less than healthy that are

being far harder hit with this virus. I also agree that there are

other issues I find far more serious to worry about than WNV, though

it does make for good " news. " I too wonder how much truth there is

to the opinion that the story makes for good brainwashing to herd

people into accepting both spraying & shots! What tune was it that

the pied piper played...

Do yourself & the environment a favor & put up a few bat houses!

Wonder why the media is not pushing this avenue of NATURAL

prevention???

They are telling us to revaccinate our horses every 4 months now for

WNV. *ugh*
