Guest guest
Doroty I am so sorry to hear you have such a bad prognosis but pleased to hear that you are not going to let the surgeon win - you can and must fight this. As for the flax seed oil, were you also taking the cottage cheese with it because it is the 2 things together that work and not just the one apparently. I wish you good health in the very near future. Guest guest
I don't know how useful flax seed oil is unless your body is seriously lacking it. I am not knocking the benefit of this supplement. I don't have cancer, (yet)it is a concern to me, but I have estrogen dominance. I have tried taking flax seed oil for other problems and noticed that it increases my estrogen levels something awful. So I view it as a poison to me and very much wouldn't use it if I do develop cancer. From what I read from other peoples post is that detoxing is very important. I viewed a tape on the Hallelujah diet from Hallelujah Acres, they have a website. This man had a large tumor on his colon and was give 6 months to live. He involved himself with this diet and the tumor shrunk in a matter of months. They are a religion by the way. http://www.yourlifesource.com/h_acres.htm If I recall the diet consisted of No Meat. Barley green in the morning and nothing but fresh organic uncooked fruit for dinner and uncooked vegetables in the other meals. Also they had some rice and other carbs with the evening meal only but the diet for cancer was different. It was mentioned that if you had cancer then you would not eat the fruit because cancer thrives on the sugars in the fruit. So far the interesting testimonies I read seem to have men get well. I don't these stories with women. They probably exist but I do know from my own struggles finding help with my problems that there are allot going on in our bodies. An online friend raves about a product MGN-3, it is expensive. I know it comes from Shitake Mushroom. Would taking the mushroom be just as beneficial? I don't know. It helped her get help with her skin cancer and a few family members took it to help with chemotherapy treatment. I can't help much except I wanted to post that I don't think this flax seed oil is for everyone either. Dear Marianne, yes, i was taking c/cheese as well, along with cayenne pepper. Just found out the cost of the cancema, over $200 nz per month, so that is one less option. >>>>>I wish you good health in the very near future. Thank you, i think i am going to need lots of it. Guest guest
---Dorothy, But, was it Organic cottage cheese? Traditional Dairy with rBGH acts like HGH, metastizing cancer cells. Guest guest
Dorothy, get juicing and eat only organic foods - I believe there are several reports of peaple having cancer who juiced their way back to health. It is essential that you give the body the nutrients that it needs to enable the healing process to carry on/begin - I just cannot understand why these people who have found 'alternative cures' for health issues price it out of most ordinary peoples range, so sad really. Join as many groups as you can that deal with this issue and go with your intuition as to which you should try, nothing ventured nothing gained. Guest guest
Dorothy I was told, that I might be dead in 6 months, if I didn't treat my heart disease entirely as the orthodox doctors wished me to. That was 9 years ago. I read recently, of research showing that, after accounting for all other variables, those patients with serious illnesses that were the most likely to survive, were the ones that had the most positive attitude and expectations about their struggle. I may die tomorrow, of a heart attack, but I may be among those that benefited from a natural optimism that I've felt all along, through the past 9 years. best wishes John P. - " Dorothy " <dotcats Thursday, September 19, 2002 2:38 PM Re: Was kidney cancer....now it's > >>>>>As for the flax seed oil, were you also taking the cottage cheese with > it because it is the 2 things together that work and not just the one > apparently. > > > > > Dear Marianne, > yes, i was taking c/cheese as well, along with cayenne pepper. > Just found out the cost of the cancema, over $200 nz per month, so that is > one less option. > > > > > >>>>>I wish you good health in the very near future. > > > > > Thank you, i think i am going to need lots of it. > > Regards, Dorothy. > > > > Getting well is done one step at a time, day by day, building health > and well being. > > list or archives: Gettingwell > > ........ Guest guest
>>>>>get juicing and eat only organic foods - I believe there are several reports of peaple having cancer who juiced their way back to health. Dear Marianne, i have just got Max Gerson " s book from the library that has the cancer diet in it, plus a friend in Melbourne sent me another good book by Ian Gawler. They both reccomend using juices, mind you it couldn't be a worse time, the end of winter, when there is little around. What i have in my garden wouldn't last a week. >>>>>I just cannot understand why these people who have found 'alternative cures' for health issues price it out of most ordinary peoples range, so sad really. Very sad. Though someone in another group is sending me the cansema pills, don't know if they will work on their own. >>>>>Join as many groups as you can that deal with this issue and go with your intuition as to which you should try, nothing ventured nothing gained. Another friend in Oz has joined 2 cancer groups to find out info for me. I get too tired and sore if i am up for too long. Laying down in bed i am 100%, with no pain. Regards, Dorothy. Guest guest
>>>>>From what I read from other peoples post is that detoxing is very important. Dear Liz, yes i have read that as well. I will probably be doing the Ian Gawler one. A friend who is going to help me through the cancer diet (doing the juices etc) is reading his book and the Max Gerson one, so hopefully in a couple of days, i will be starting. >>>>>It was mentioned that if you had cancer then you would not eat the fruit because cancer thrives on the sugars in the fruit. Yes, i have read that as well, i have also read the opposite, so i think i will give all fruit a miss. >>>>>a product MGN-3, it is expensive. I know it comes from Shitake Mushroom. Would taking the mushroom be just as beneficial? I don't know. Ian Gawler says to NOT eat them, so who do you believe ???? Perhaps i should give them a miss as well. Regards, Dorothy. Guest guest
Of course, we all know that there is no *magic cure* for cancer. But extensive reading of alternative/complimenary books and websites has led me to think that there are things which can help. At least it gives me hope that something I do can make a difference for my longer survival and better quality of life. Have you read *A Cancer Battle Plan* (nutritional and other strategies that cured metastatic breast cancer for author Anne Frahm?) Other books which helped with hopeful stories and experiences, and supplement ideas: The Cancer Conqueror Beating Cancer with Nutrition by Patrick Quillin ( I take a notebook page full of supplements/foods recommended here He has a website: http://www.4nutrition.com/ I take the stuff from the 1998? ed. of the book, not his expensive ImmunoPower combined supplement) Nutrition: the Cancer Answer II by Maureen Kennedy Salaman. THE JOURNEY THROUGH CANCER, by Dr Jeremy Geffen, an oncologist, is a book I have found to be comforting, touching, informational, and full of additional things you can do to help yourself to cope, feel better, and choose where and how to go from here. a few websites: http://cat007.com/catalt.htm http://www.drday.com www.hacres.com www.drwhitaker.com www.drsinatra.com I hope for health, joy, and healing for you all, Janet, lurker, NW of Seattle, colorectal cancer, dx 11/00 removed, later mets to liver, removed Thu, 19 Sep 2002 14:09:58 +1200 " Dorothy " <dotcats Was kidney cancer....now it's Hi All, sorry i didn't get to answer those that wrote to me the other week, but on monday of this week i had to go for another cat scan. They didn't get all the cancer and it has spread to the stomach, diaphram and the spleen. I was advised by my specialist to just go home and die, as there is nothing they can do. He gave me 6-24 months. Well, to HELL with him, i am going to fight this some way. Any good ideas ?? I have sent away for the Max Gerson cancer book, from the library, quicker than buying from a book shop, they have to get it from overseas. A wonderful friend in Australia is also getting me info, re cansema etc. My head is spinning from all the info, but i don't know what to use. Please don't tell me to take flax-seed oil and ground flax seed, as i took that for about 8 months along with udos oil as well, and still the tumor grew. Hope someone out there has some magic **cure**. Regards, Dorothy.
