Guest guest
Paula, Dr. Norman Walker has some really great books, Fresh Vegetable and Fruit Juices...What's missing in your body? " For arthritis, he suggests at least one pint of Formula No. 22 (grapefruit) [i also understand if on certain heart meds, this is not advised]; one pint of No. 61 (carrot and spinach combined); No. 6 (straight celery juice and at least one pint of No. 37 (carrot and celery combined) This means a total of 4 pints daily. The addition of one pint of No. 30 (carrot, beet and cumber conbined) is also found beneficial. For rheumatism he says, meat and meat products of any kind, cannot be digested without the excessive accumulation of uric acid in the system. (Read the chapter on carrot, beet and cucumber juices.) Retained in the body, this uric acid is absorbed into the muscles and sooner or later crystallizes. These sharp uric acid crystals are the cause of the pain in rheumatism (Read chapter on Protein in DIET and SALAD Book.) " He suggests formula 23 (lemon) , 30 (carrot, beet, cucumber), 61 (carrot and spinach. To order Dr. Walkers books call 520-445-5567. The two above mentioned books are $7.95 each. I suggest ordering all 7 of his books. He is fabulous and lived until 109! To your health, Jane
