There is evidence that women with higher cholesterol levels actually live

longer and healthier than women with lower cholesterol. Read Uffe Ravnskov

book Cholesterol Myths or go to <A

http://www.ravnskov.nu/cholesterol.htm</A>. Also do you know what your HDL

and triglycerides are? Evidence from Harvard that the more telling ratio is

TG/HDL especially for women. Want it as low as possible. TGs are directly

related to the amound of the carbohydrates in your diet.

Pretty good results!

I use the late Dr Sohn's protocol. He used to do stop smoking treatments in

his clinic for $250. for one treatment. He taught my husband and myself to

do these treatments, and my husband actually took over his smoking clinic for a

few years.

tx is simple and direct. two points: sweet breath (extra point) and ht 3.

You will want to stimulate a deep qi sensation with the needles, the patient

should get a metalic taste in the back of their throats (that's when you know

the tx is working)

needles are retained approximately 25-30 minutes

You want the patient to come in desiring a cigarette and not having smoked

for at least two hours before tx.

that's it....it really works

(sorry no differential diagnosis for tx to stop smoking :> )

Dear Robee

I am an acupuncturist based in Cork Sth Ireland. On the TCM site I saw your

prescription for smoking cessation and I am very interested in trying it on

a few patients.

The only problem is I dont know where extra pt sweet breath is. I would be

very grateful if you wouln't mind forwarding me details of the location of

this pt.

Many Thanks
