Guest guest
It has come to my attention that potassium chloride, instead of reducing blood pressure in rats, actually increases it. This is one more indication that one should get as much of potassium as possible from food for one's needs. It is possible that part of the long time rise in hypertension from salt is partly from its chloride content. A short discussion of this is available at; http://www.ucop.edu/sciencetoday/pages/archive/transcripts/2000/sci616 ..html#D Sincerely, Charles Weber
