Hi All,

just over a week ago i was told that i had a large mass on or attached to my

kidney, but when i got to see the specialist yesterday, he informed me that

the *large mass* is in fact my kidney.

It is malignant, and been there for at least 10 yrs.

How could useless dr's over the yrs miss that ??

This is what else i was told by the specialist.

I could bleed to death on the table.

I wont get chemo, because if he doesn't get it all, there is no other cure.

There was a 3rd, but would you believe i can't remember it.

Nice huh ??

Question 1.

Has any-one had this, or know of any-one who has ?? if so, how did he/she

get on ??

Question 2.

What foods/supplements/exercises etc should i take/do to get my body a bit

stronger for major surgery ??

All the supplements/oils etc that i was taking for the fibromyalgia and

arthritis i stopped taking months ago as they didn't help, so now i am on

nothing.

I still eat good organic food though.

My symptoms are, terrible pain in *the* kidney, a tired and worn out feeling

all the time, a terrible taste in my mouth, not peeing as much and

indigestion, whether i have eaten or not.

Well i think that is it, apart from i hopefully go in for surgery on the

29th July.

Hope someone can help.

Regards, Dorothy.

You could join the Flax Oil list. Almost everyone has cancer. Some were

sent home to die over 10 years ago.

Dear Dorothy,

I am very sorry to hear of your diagnosis. My sister-in-law has renal clear

cell cancer. She was diagnosed with this two years ago and had a kidney

removed about a year ago.

I have read that Dr. Linus Pauling, the vitamin C guru, found that people

who received massive doses of vitamin C intraveneously extended their lives

and felt better. In some cases, cancer tumours went into remission or

disappeared completely. The verdict is still out on its efficacy.

Thinking of you,

In regard to the kidney mass...it would and could only be detected on physical

exam if large enough and that depends on how lean you are...it takes time for

the mass to enlarge and in the meantime..there could have been abnormal lab

values associated. However, if you had no specific symptoms then you're prior

docs would not have been prompted to order such labs. Otherwise the only way the

kidney mass could be detected is with an imaging exam such as ultrasound or

CTscan or MRI.

On FlaxSeedOil2 list, I just received the info below with lots of

URLs on Vitamin C which I am passing on here. I would also recommend info

put forth by Matthias Rath, MD, who was a protege of Linus Pauling.

Hi Alobar,

thank you for all that info.

I have a faulty monitor at the moment that is only allowing me to view a

section 8 " x 4 " so that rules out internet explorer, i am taking it in

tomorrow to get fixed (hopefully) so i will then be able to visit the sites

you so kindly sent.

Thank you again.

Regards, Dorothy.

Hi All,

for those who have answered me privately and to the group, thank you.

I propose joining the flax seed group just as soon as i get my monitor

fixed.

>>>>>it would and could only be detected on physical exam if large enough.

I have felt it down there for at least 3 yrs and on various examinations

have said how tender and sore it was there.

This type of cancer grows at about 3cm a year, which makes mine about 30cm

or 12 " .

>>>>>However, if you had no specific symptoms then you're prior docs would

not have been prompted to order such labs.

Having arthritis and fybromyalgia hasn't helped.

One of the symptoms of this cancer is blood in the urine, but, unfortunately

it is also a symptom of the ecoli bacteria, of which i have had 5 times this

year in my uterus.

>>>>>the only way the kidney mass could be detected is with an imaging exam

such as ultrasound or CTscan or MRI.

Mine is so big you can feel it.

I am having the ct scan on the 19th to see if it had spread anywhere else.

>>>>>I have read that Dr. Linus Pauling, the vitamin C guru, found that

people who received massive doses of vitamin C intraveneously extended their

lives and felt better. In some cases, cancer tumours went into remission or

disappeared completely.

Will definately look into that, thank you.

Someone mentioned chemo, well i can't have that because with this cancer it

doesn't work.

This one drops *seeds* which grow throughout the body and become malignant

like the original, so, only one operation as well, doesn't seem fair, but

that is what the specialist said.

I hope i have answered all who have written, if not i am very sorry.

Regards, Dorothy.

You may want to join the flax oil list. It's for cancer patients. They

combine flax oil and cottage cheese daily (search Dr. Budwig) and many have

had much success... BonnieB
