Guest guest
Wow! Wayne; where do you live? So far as I know it is not possible to raise blueberries in Wyoming. Lorenzo >>> Wayne Fugitt <wayne Blueberry Pictures The blueberry harvest is in full swing. I have been calling all my friends and telling them to come get free blueberries. Many are too busy and /or too lazy to come and pick them I thought some of you might be interested in a few pictures. The weather has been excellent. At first I thought they were hurting for water, then we had a few small rains. Somehow, the result is the best harvest with larger and sweeter berries. Many of the berries are one half inch and some are over 5/8 inch in diameter. http://www.fugitt.com/bb_0610/ Six pictures under 100 K. To give you some idea of the plot size, there are 13 rows that originally contained 450 plants. These plant were planted in 1980. About every two to three years they are pruned heavily to make them more manageable. Wayne
