Guest guest
Shirley I really feel for you, there is nothing worse and I know because I have been there. The hormones actually made things worse for me when they put me on them first. Now, knowing what I know, I wouldn't take them anyway. Try taking, Vitex (valerian), black cohosh, red clover blossom & wild yam. Just remember that it won't happen overnight but it will help eventually. I am sure that others can give you more information that will help you but this is about the extent of my knowledge. Good luck and remember that life does return to normal especially when you take the natural route. Guest guest
Shirley, There are some books on that subject on replacing your hormones naturally. I have one of Dr. R. Lee's books that promotes using natural hormonal cream, but you would need to supply yourself with the estrogen also if you lost your ovaries. I think a book is the best place to start because a womans hormonal make up is so complex, it rules our world. I wouldn't do justice trying to help you out. Not just taking herbs but eating certain foods like soy helps increase estrogen. Also the creams are helpful. I didn't lose my uterus or anything but I had a really bad hormonal imbalance and that progesterone cream helped me. I took it for 6 months. As for soy I am not suppose to have that because of my thyroid problem. Which I found out about 2 months ago about that from my thyriod site. Again I thank you for the info I will use it!!! Anything has to help, because what I'm doing sure isn't!! LOL!!! shirley - elizdettrey Gettingwell Monday, June 10, 2002 11:01 PM Re: Question???
