Guest guest
Robert has a mild interest in nutrition and hare is his first attempt at recommending the food that 9th Grade Athletes should eat, based on ancient natural food supplies. Lorenzo " Nutrition Correct nutrition is vital to maintaining stamina in this fitness plan. The following will give options of what to eat from the cave man food diet. Do not eat: Foods with complex Ingredients Sugars, Fructose, Corn Syrup, Sucrose, Dextrose, Maltose, Malt dextrin Enriched white flour and wheat flour Vegetable oils such as: corn oil, Canola oil, Safflower oil Milk Why: Sugars cause diabetes if you want to argue with me if you want ill be glad to prove it. White/Wheat flour has the good stuff (vitamins, minerals) taken out of it and its starches turn into sugar Milk has been homogenized and pasteurized so it is ruined. After age 10 its not good to drink milk anyways. Corn/Vegetable oils are not healthy and canola oil is very unhealthy. Eat: Fish Meat - Lamb, Cow, etc. Olive oil, Coconut oil, palm oil Natural fats Cheese Yogurt Fruits Vegetables 100% Whole wheat or Sprouted Grain Bread Why: Fish caught in the ocean and lakes have a lot of healthy minerals and vitamins in them. Meats are very controversial so I shall narrow it down. Cows are usually fed corn the last months before they are slaughtered so all the natural fats are converted from omega 3 to omega 6. Range cattle not fed on grain or corns before they are slaughtered are very healthy. Hunted Meats as in Elk are very healthy also. Natural oils such as Olive, Coconut, and Palm oils are much healthier as they have omega 3 in them. One is extremely rare to get fat off of coconut oil. Cheese is modified a dairy product. Fruits have all natural sugars and an incredibly amount of nutrients in them and are best for sprints. Vegetables have incredible nutritional value so eat them except for potatoes. Potatoes are starchy items so consume them for strenuous activities. 100% Whole wheat is mostly untouched by harmful chemicals and is 100% better than eating white pasta like macaroni. Sprouted Grain breads are even better because they have several times more vitamins than were in the wheat if it was made into flour. Vitamins and Minerals Vitamin C (AN ABSOLUTE MUST) Vitamin A, B, E, D Folic Acid, Zinc, Selenium MSM - MethylSulfonylMethane - harmful as water Salts - All natural such as Redmond REALSALT Use as directed Vitamin C is a must. It repairs the muscles. If you do not take it you will be sore all the time throughout this fitness plan. Vitamin A, B, E, and D are good also. MSM helps against certain diseases and helps the body Regular table salt has had more than seventy trace minerals removed from it before it is packaged and sold. Natural salts contain the same trace minerals as are in the oceans and approximately the same proportion as in your blood. Consuming natural salts provides protection against some trace mineral deficiency diseases. Natural salts are essential when doing strenuous work and are needed to be consumed with water. Do not take too much salt of course. Folic acid is a nutrient found in Green leafy vegetable and now the government has started adding it to bread to avoid Spinal Bifid in babies Zinc is vital and people who don't eat enough meat will be short of it. Selenium is vital and some areas of the world, some soil have no selenium and some has too much selenium so a supplement is a good idea. In other words everything new consumed in the last ten thousand years should be used in small amounts or avoided. "
