Guest guest
Hi All, Does anyone know of what would help over sensitivity to heat? I have been that way for several years but it seems to have grown worse over time. Thankyou in advance to all that respond. Ruth :-)

This could be one reason. My son and my niece are very sensitive to hot days. I noticed that my son acted like he was suffering from heat stroke when all the other kids are still jumping around in the heat. Talking to my brother- in-law, tells me his daughter is the same way and they live in a hot state. Has to stay in airconditioned enviroment because they lack the ablility to sweat properly. Liz D. Guest guest
Evening Liz, >>Have you noticed that you are not sweating enough? >>they live in a hot state. Most of the people I have known that had " sweat inability " had other things wrong and many had cancer in later years. I have recently started using a product called " SuperGram III " . It is a timed release C (1000mg) plus a few minerals. I pop two or three of these during the day, and always take one before going out into the heat to sweat, work, and get my daily does of sunshine. One should make sure they are fully hydrated of course. A good real world example...... many years back in the 50's, I was in a military parade in dress uniform. Me and one other guy was hitting our canteen regularly. One wise guy told us, we better be careful, we would pass out from the heat. While standing at parade rest, we heard something hit the pavement. We looked behind us and the same wise guy that was cautioning us against drinking so much water was looking at the sky with his feet pointed straight up. Me and my friend smiled and took another big swig of water. Maybe someone that understands the body chemistry can tell us how to turn on the sweat glands. I would consider it a major disorder if I could not sweat. Wayne
Guest guest
Have you had your doctor check it out? I know that the thyroid gland has alot to do with regulating temperature. If it is overactive, you will feel the heat, if underactive you will feel the cold more than normal.
Guest guest
Wayne, You are right about the importance of sweating. And if you sweat allot you got to replace your minerals, I guess vitamin C is important too. Have any idea on where to look about a sweating disorder? My son does sweat but not enough. And he drinks lots of fluid. No soft drinks at all, good kid. My other son was in the military and the importance the place on water is great. He came back and told me a few things.
