Guest guest
Last weekend I was fitting some bricks into my sidewalk, filling a hole there and leveling the area off. My neighbor began telling me about his feet and how much they bothered him. I asked him what was the problem with his feet. He told me that he is diabetic and they have turned blue and are very painful. He is to have a test and the doctor said he could very soon wind up loosing his feet. This man is in his 50's very overweight and suffers from a mental illness. He is diabetic and I am told he doesn't follow his diet, or take his medication like he is supposed to. It is common for people to stop their medication if they feel they are not getting any better. We had a talk about magnets and I asked him if he ever tried them. He said " no, but he has a friend with diabetes and his friend uses them and feels better, takes the pain away. " Well, I told him all I could recant about magnets and how they helped my husband, me and other people. And many thing I told him he replied saying, " thats what my friend said too! " So he is now eager to get magnets for himself from his friend. Well through our talk I asked him about his legs and said that I am just guessing but being that you are overweight as well as being diabetic that the circulation in your legs has got to be bad. He says that it was very much and that he has very large ulcers on the back of his legs and ankles are swelling and discolored. I wanted him to give horse chestnut a try after explaining to him how this helped my husband so much with his legs. I told him that if he can improve this circulation in his legs that he wouldn't run this risk of loosing them. And that the horse chestnut helps remove water from the body that is piling up and he may feel much better. I gave him some. He was eager to try it and took one. The next day I saw him and asked him if he felt the herb was working for him. He said it did and right away! So he took another. I cautioned him about taking two because this herb is very strong. Day 2 talked to him and he was just thanking me over and over again. He was so happy and I felt choked up. He said he feels like he got his own feet again and he can tell his legs are even improving. Also he was on a water pill the doctor gave him but it wasn't eliminating the needed water. The horse chestnut was. Day 4. He had a doctors appointment to check his feet. They were going to determine if they had to put him in the hospital or not. The doctor couldn't believe the change in this mans legs. The doctor asked him what he was taking and my neighbor couldn't remember the name but told him it was a herb. The doctor said for him to find out because he is interested in what has helped him so much. I spoke with his sister and she said that his mental disposition is a little better. I told her that I knew with my mother that any bouts of ill health put such a stress on the nervous system that it made the mental illness symptoms worse. I knew he would feel better overall, who wouldn't? I told him that if he had such good results in 4 days just wait untill 2 weeks from now. I did impress on his need to stay with his diet and medication because this herb doesn't cure his sugar problem but it is helpful to strenghten the veins. Liz D.
