The dose of vitamin C recommended seems quite low to me. I have

been taking 16-24 grams daily for close to 2 decades now. My bowel

tolerance is significantly higher.

Alobar,

This is the way Shari approaches that--

When I have a cold of flu, I can take as much as 10 grams of vitamin

C a day with no bowel tolerance symptoms. But when I'm well, this

amount

does cause symptoms. "

So apparently your body still needs it??

I'm of the opinion that *natural* healing (is there any other?) has

to be approached on an individual basis.

Allopathic medicine thinks we all should be treated with the same

meds. I prefer to listen to what my body is telling me and use my own

discretion. Apparently you are doing the same.

God Bless!

Interestingly, it appears that as someone gets better, their bowel

tolerance decreases and they need less vitamin C.
