Guest guest
Wonder how they tested it? As I recall the test is for an E c. bacteria that occurs in the gut of all mammals. A positive result may show statistically that the water has contamination but maybe by a mouse or a cow. And for those with a strong stomach; a few bacteria are not considered dangerous. Filters may remove spores but not bacteria or virus; for those something like chlorine is effective. The chlorine may later be removed by a charcoal filter. Look at the " Everpure " filter system for an RV it works this way. Good luck, Lorenzo > > A Swiss study claims 11 out of 29 European brands of mineral water contain > traces of human faeces. > >Thanks for this, I am so glad that I stopped drining bottled water at least when I filter my own I have some idea that it is fairly 'pure'.
