Need help / Suggestion

I have the opportunity to write a monthly article about Nutrition and

Health for a monthly publication. This is a

" small town " paper that has a circulation of 16,000.

 

Not that I want to be a big time writer by any means, I will be doing this

for free and hopefully to pass on valuable information.

 

Of course selecting topics and making them interesting while getting

readership will be the real challenge.

 

I will have one column, 2.25 inches, 9 pt type, 14 inches long. I have not

figured out how many words that is yet.

 

The editor told me she will print it, just as I write it. NO

censorship. Still, I have to be careful I do not summons lawyers

or make enemies.

 

Any ideas and suggestions as to topics and methods appreciated.
