It's supposed reason for existance is to help familys and patients in their last days of a terminal illness. However, our experience with Hospice has been different. My Aunt is the Director and House Administrator for an Aids house that has room for 6 residents. When Hospice was called in, it was to my Aunt's suprise that morphine was immediately offered. In asking why, as the person was not in great pain, she was told that morphone sped up the process of death by relaxing the lungs so passing would be peaceful. I truely hope this is not the case with you dear little daughter and felt it important you have this information my Aunt passed on to me. Therepeutic essential oils when diffused will often relieve swelling and breathing problems.
