Now a specific illness - Lou Gehrig's disease - has been added to the list. Nearly twice as many Gulf War veterans are likely to develop this progressive neurological illness as other military service personnel, a government report reveals. According to an Associated Press report, military officials are now being much more vigilant in their medical record-keeping for troops abroad and more selective about which men and women are sent overseas.
