I did have one EDTA doc tell me that he was very frustrated that all the )(*#@$( politics surrounding EDTA prevented some med school dweebs from doing a little research and figuring out what test to run so he could chelate the 75% of his patients that respond well to it and refer the other 25% for something else (often bypass surgery) if they are not going to benefit from it without having to waste their money on 20-30 bags of EDTA before it becomes clear they aren't responding. He said it was really quite apparent to him clinically that there was some parameter that was like a switch - either chelation response is on or off - and that it was really upsetting nobody at the med schools could climb down off their high horse and do a little research to figure out how to check. He didn't expect it to be particularly challenging research, it is just beyond the capability of someone running a clinic and trying to make a living being " alternative " to do.
