Guest guest
Dear all, Following a horrible tonsillitis from infectious mononucleosis at the end of last year, I seem to have got recurrent or chronic tonsillitis on one side now. There are small white blobs on one of my tonsils all the time. It doesn't hurt as bad as before, and I don't have a fever either, but it's still uncomfortable. My ENT doctor said there's probably some chronic low grade infection trapped inside my tonsil, and it's unlikely to heal. Has anyone had similar experience on this? Is a tonsillectomy inevitable? What can I do to improve it? I try to eat a couple of raw garlic cloves (minced) everyday to kill the germs and boost my immune system, but it has not worked so far yet. Thanks, Justin
