Guest guest
Thanks Wayne, I meant to take the teaspoon of cayenne with hot water as that was the only way I had heard about. Your 'recipe' sounds good although I do not like honey but I am learning to have a lot of things that I do not like so that my health will improve. I am willing to give this a go, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Is there a limit to how much I should have per day or can I have as much as I can stomach? Thanks again Marianne > You can get it in capsules. Guest guest
I don't think there is anyway to eliminate the power of cayenne The tincture I take is horrid tasting and it better be keeping me going!! 250,000 units of heat or however it is measured..Donna In a message dated 2/10/02 2:55:05 PM, marianne2406 writes: << ventured, nothing gained. Guest guest
From what I have learned over the last 3 months on these groups, that is the best way of taking these supplements. Thanks for the info. Marianne > Often I feel the claims for virtually all these products may be > exaggerated, but I can't afford to take the chance. > I don't take these products the year round. Guest guest
I will try that thanks, I find honey is far too sweet for me but mixed with cayenne it should be ok I think. But.... unless you have a problem with honey, when mixed with honey, as in the cough suppressant, you do not get burned from the pepper. Simply stir the cayenne with honey, add some lemon juice if you desire, and down a teaspoon full a few times per day. I can't imagine taking a spoonful of cayenne .... straight. I keep a few jars of the stuff around for various purposes. Wayne
Guest guest
The only thing I have heard against cayenne capsules is that they " shock " your tummy! Suddenly, fire! Contrast that to the evil burning sensation when you take it in liquid, that can " warn " the stomach! Guest guest
Evening Marianne, >>Your 'recipe' sounds good although I do >not like honey but I am learning to have a lot of things that I do not like >so that my health will improve. Honey has no standard flavor. It varies with the plants the bees have been using for a source. Some like dark honey and some like light honey. The honey I like best comes from " square weed " . Likely this weed has a scientific name. It grows wild in large open fields and has a distinctive purple bloom, and yes.... the main stem is square. The honey produced from this source is a bit darker and has more flavor than any light honey I have seen. > I am willing to give this a go, nothing >ventured, nothing gained. Is there a limit to how much I should have per day >or can I have as much as I can stomach? I am no expert on cayenne. I keep the basic ground cayenne and two other products available. One is nothing but cayenne and has a strength of 100,000 STU. Each capsule provides 450 mg. The other product is mixture of.....: Cayenne 440 mg ( 40,000 STU units ) Korean Ginseng 10 mg Garlic 600 mg Butchers Broom 63 mg Siberian Ginseng 30 mg This product is called " Circu-Care " and made by TwinLabs. Often I feel the claims for virtually all these products may be exaggerated, but I can't afford to take the chance. I don't take these products the year round. Instead I may take them for a month or two, a few times per year. Wayne

Guest guest
Morning Ron, >>Why don't you sign your e-mail with www.fugitt.com >It is worth visiting for sure. It is an old web page. Every time I research something new, I simply build a web page. I use no crutches or software. Every single page is built with an ASCII editor called qedit. The code is more readable and does not have 100 commands on a line. Every line of code is either hand written or typed. One page is the output of a program I wrote to embed data from my control system in the web page. Sorry I posted the link with a spelling error. The correct link is www.fugitt.com/altview.htm Today I added the file about microwave cooking research. I formatted this file in word using two columns. Now it will print nicely on 4 pages. Typically, I print front and back to save paper. The pages are numbered. A link to microwave cooking research is on the altview page. or..... www.fugitt.com/altview/microwav.doc I have found that doc files display ok in most browsers so I don't have to make html files. Lots of oddball information and links exist on my site. Much of it is not related to food and nutrition. Some is related to other things that effect our health and well being. Don't overlook the page I built about two years ago on biological warfare and terrorism. Some of that is out of date today. Wayne
