Have the different sources send you free samples. I found the VCO from www.coconutoil-online.com to be a superior product to the others in both smell and taste. It is the least processed VCO and they will send you a free sample. The sample sent from the Wildnerness Family Naturals smelled and tasted rancid in comparison. Guest guest
Evening TK, >>be a superior product to the others in both smell and taste. Possibly their samples are older than their product. I just finished a quart of the product from this source and only yesterday ordered a gallon. There was no rancid taste and it appeared excellent to me. Of course I had nothing to compare it with as I had never used Coconut oil before. Others on this list recommended the source. Guest guest
I did not detect any rancid taste in mine either. I had to wait, actually, because they were waiting for a shipment from the Philipines.. I did notice that the ohter company seems to pack the oil in plastic sack and wilderness has it packed in a glass jar.. is this correct? Guest guest
There seem to be three distributers. 1) coconut-info.com which is the source for: 2) wildernessfamilynaturals.com and 3) coconut-online.com Who supplies no.3 ? Where does theirs come from? I'm on my 3rd gal. of vcno from wilderness a very light and delicate aroma and flavor the processing of which can surely be matched but not improved upon. Wilderness gallons come in food grade plastic buckets. Where does theirs come from? Hi Ron, From village based traditional production in the Philippines. The story is to be found on the coconut-info site. http://coconut-info.com/index.html The other major source is Kononut Pacific, which use a manual cold pressed method (still village based) developed by the Australian National University (ANU) and the Australian government owned CSIRO research labs. http://www.kokonutpacific.com.au/ ======================== Optimal Health & Longevity, Greg Watson, http://optimalhealth.cia.com.au Optimal_Health_and_Longevity
