Yes. Unless you are euphoric or manic you want armour. You can see

the discussion of how the two affect thyroid hormone metabolism in my

book Amalgam Illness: Diagnosis and Treatment on about page 117 (the

book is described at http://hometown.aol.com/noamalgam) or you can

find it in the Journal of Orthomolecular Medicine a couple of years

ago (with me as author) if you can find a library near you that has

it.

Basically, using levothyroxine makes the endocrinologists happy they

have another sacrificial victim for the AMA religion, but it does not

result in physiologically normal levels of triiodothyronine, which are

important for your cognitive symptoms.

Hi Andy,

Is a very low BP a sign of a hypothyroid?

Thanks Andy,

I seem to remember being euphoric years ago for about 5 minutes or so.

Armour is where I will start.

No. But someone who is hypothyroid may have low blood pressure, low pulse,

low heart rate.... your body is sort of running slow..... the main way of

telling if you are hypo...is your body temp. For women you should test

first thing in the morning 4 days after menstruation has begun. If it is

below 36.5, then you could be hypothyroid.

Hope this helps
