Guest guest
I'm looking at a can of Bumble Bee albacore tuna : Contains white tuna, water, vegetable broth (includes soy), salt, pyrophosphate added. Sheesh! I never thought to pay attention to that before. I wonder if the vegetable broth also includes MSG. Thank you : joguest writes: The last time I had Tuna was about 20 years ago and by default - in a cafe I ordered a Salmon sandwich and was given Tuna - I came out in a rash all over my neck and have never had the inclination to try Tuna again.......... Guest guest
Evening Ron, Sheesh! I never thought to pay attention to that before. I wonder if the >vegetable broth also includes MSG. If you keep reading all those labels like that, soon you won't have anything left to eat. Nearly every time I read a label, I put that food on my " don't eat " list. The list of things I can eat seems to grow shorter and shorter. This is a dilemma for sure. To make matters worse, people like Dr. Hulda Clark say don't eat anything out of a can. This idea saves all the eye strain reading labels. Often I wonder if the labels are telling us the truth anyway. Another nasty trick I am seeing on supplement labels is a neat little box that is telling us huge numbers for specific nutrients. This nearly fooled me when only glancing at the label. These number reference the full daily requirement of specific minerals, ect. ........ not the amount in the suggested daily dose. This has only been added within the last year or so, maybe only a few months. There were few labels on the items I just ate for supper. Bell peppers and onions in scrambled eggs. It must have been a month since I cooked this dish. Also had some bacon with a bite or two of dessert. The dessert was peanut butter, coconut oil, and honey. Then I followed that with a few select herbs. Wayne

Hi Wayne, Only what they think they have to legally tell you. Imagine the label is a lawyer telling you what is in the food! Do you now believe it? It's summer in Oz and the veggies from the garden are wondeful. Too many tomatoes, beans, lettuces, spinach, capsicum, etc to eat. Guest guest
Evening Greg, It's summer in Oz and the veggies from the garden are wonderful. Too many tomatoes, beans, lettuces, spinach, capsicum, >etc to eat. Yes, I am counting the days until I can plant my spring garden. Most of the store produce is barely worth carrying home. Today I was thinking of getting some of my plants started early, inside. I have a table with wheels. I could place the plants on this table and roll them out in the sun, when I have sun, and favorable temperatures. One of my dream systems would to that automatically. When the outside temperature reached a preset level, the garage door would open, and the plants ( on a pallet with wheels, motor, gearbox, ect ) would be moved into the sun. Later in the day, when the temperature dropped, the plants would move back inside. It might be easier to build a greenhouse. Wayne
