[mindmastery-essentialskills] I had to get up & walk out of the room before I started crying like a baby

People talk about it (being empathic) like it's a curse sometimes, BUT I've

NEVER had a time where it was a negative thing. It's ONLY ever happened when I

was able to connect with the person in a way that I could send or offer them

some comfort:

1) The tax guy who fucked up and gave MY tax forms to someone else -- I saw his

scrambled energies, and mentally projected help to him -- he stopped, got a

strange look on his face, took a deep breath, and relaxed.

2) The woman in the hospital waiting room whose husband was about to go into

surgery when she got a call that her house just burned down. I " became her " for

a moment, and mentally gave her assistance, calmed TW, and focused on " what to

do now " . She even turned and looked at me " weird " after she calmed down in just

a few seconds after being hysterical.

3) The guy who was stooped over in Taco Bell -- and his wife -- I mentally

connected with him, did EFT for " Even though I can't stand up straight... " and

then I noticed that even though she loved him dearly, she was ASHAMED at being

with him, afraid everyone was staring at her / him / them. So I sent her mental

suggestions AND used language patterns for break states. They both enjoyed the

conversation, he left standing up, and she left with a SMILE on her face.

4) Images of children and mothers suffering after the tsunami a couple of years

ago, so I mentally projected comfort to them, in the way I knew best at that

time.

5) Other numerous times when I just " sense " something about someone, and I

mentally send them compassion, thoughts of caring, assistance, or whatever I

sense is right for them, sometimes accompanied with spoken language patterns,

sometimes not.

This of course, is not what I normally do -- I usually want people to get out of

my way. LOL

And there have been times when I was " accidentally " drawn to some event based on

my own attractor fields, where I experienced someone else's pain or suffering

and " couldn't " do anything about it because I needed to learn something about my

own choices.

But every time I've had an " empathic " connection with someone, it has NEVER been

a negative or painful thing. I have ALWAYS had that connection BECAUSE I was

there and was able to DO SOMETHING to offer some sort of assistance.

I got to help someone else along their path, and I also got to practice and get

better at real good skills I've learned.

I'm real glad you posted what you wrote to them, Doc. Thank you.

Jim
