Yes, you are 100% correct.

 

She would need a few extra steps...

 

....and, giving all those steps in a post is virtually impossible.

Training, and experiencing is necessary in a REAL situation, but...

 

....here goes.

 

The first step (there are at least 37 steps, depending on the

system)

of any meditation is " physical relaxation " ...

 

....ie something like autogenics (J. Schultz, 1922) or the

progressive

relaxation of E. Jabcobson(1937), or Jose Silva's (1966) " Long

Relax " , or as it is now called in the UltraMind System (1998), " The

Centering Drill " ...

 

When their TW's are in overdrive several things are necessary BEFORE

they can even attempt to relax physically...

 

FIRST, they need some preconditionings that are isomorphic to

THEM...and if they are Wood, they need stories that are isomorphic

to

Wood...if they are Water, they need stories that are isomorphic to

Water...

 

....and in those stories you imbedd the benefits that they OTHER

person has received...and because the story is isomorphic and you

are

talking about " the other person " , THEN the person you are talking to

also gets those benefits...

 

....but, if you talk directly to them, Ie, " you can... " , this will

mismatch the Hell out of whatever you are teaching...

 

....and they will " think " , " nope! It won't work for me! " ...

 

So, for a mismatching style, a style that only starts out seeing

the " differences " (me for example, or Mary) you actually put a

softener on the end of the statement...

 

....ie, " you know, I don't know if this will WORK FOR YOU, or

not...but, I taught Jane how to do XXX, and here are the benefits

that she got... "

 

Be sure to include THEIR beliefs and their values (NOT your beliefs

and your values)...

 

So, with YOUR preconditionings you need to build into their

unconscious mind, and conflicting parts, FIRST the thought that such

a technique is possible...

 

....and, that such a technique has worked for others like them, in

the

past, in the present, and will work for those others in the future

also...

 

Then you take them through a process that actually teachs them out

to

shut down extraneous sensory imput, until they are only focused on

one input...

 

....and do that process with using the VAKOG external, and then

internal...

 

....as you have them access past states where they've already had the

state they are now going towards...

 

....ie, " I don't know about you....but I love to lay back in my

spa...look outside and see the deep blue sky through the apple tree

branches...and feel the heat penetrating deeply into my muscles...as

I close my eyes...and I notice the chirping of birds outside...I

relax even more... "

 

Learning how to physically relax is simple, and here's a few books

that will teach you simple methods, quickly.

 

Charles Tibbets has a great book out, " Self-Hypnosis & Other Mind

Expanding Techniques " . So does L. LaCron, " Self-Hypnosis " ...

 

By far the fastest and easiest method is to get a tape/cd that does

most of it for you.

 

All you then need to do is to find a quiet spot (20 minutes), sit in

an upright chair, feet flat on the floor, and palms flat on your

thighs...and then press the " on " button and let the process take

place.

 

So much more to it then that.
