Guest guest
If you are the type who doesn't like having fun, or you don't like having secret skills for your own success and the success of those close to you, or you don't like making new friends instantly as if you've known each other all of your lives, then Doc's training's are NOT for you. If this is the case, then don't read the following either! Not too long ago, I had heard about Doc's upcoming event " The X-Factor of ESP Mana Magic for COVERT Bonding " . Basically, as I understood it, it was about a secret so powerful that very few know about. The ones that do know about it, keep those secrets to themselves. According to Doc's ad copy (the one he wanted taken down so you can't read it), letting people know you have these secrets " will cause them to avoid you... think you are crazy... attempt to discredit and badmouth you " because of their " FEAR, HATE and ENVY " . I don't know why, but I wanted to know these secrets. I wanted a certain confidence, I wanted power and I wanted control. I didn't realize what else I would be getting, something I didn't expect. I'll get to that a little later... I got into the Medford airport on Thursday afternoon. I like being early. It gives me a chance to get things situated. Got my rental car, checked into my room, and I had enough time to take care of a few other things I needed to take care of. It took me a couple hours, and it was still early. So after all that was done, I thought it would be a good idea to go down to Doc's studio and 'check things out', i.e. see who else was there, hand out for a while and maybe go get something to eat together (which we did). I will say one thing, Doc and Jack sure do make you feel welcome when you get there. Doc had some things he wanted to take care of, so we waited a few minutes for him to get done what he needed to get done. So Doc and the early arrivals (including me) went down the street to eat. Doc had already begun... The next day I got there early again. I had offered to help set up things up for the afternoon session; chairs, tables, books, training manuals, posters, etc. I do this as a small token of my appreciation (plus I get to pick out the seat I want before anyone else takes it, which I think is fair). That afternoon session started out with what stops people. Doc asked after going to a training and learning new things, what stops people from continuing to do those drills to get the skills once they leave. What is it that separates those few who do get the skills, and the many who do not? We also went over secrets of confidence, did some drills testing out confidence, along with some simple yet POWERFULLY effective anchoring secrets. While we were doing that, I was still wondering when the hell was going to tell us what stops people from really getting the skills they learned. By the time the first day ended, I was somewhat frustrated. He didn't tell us! He never came out and said what it was! I think he did it on purpose, getting us all excited about knowing how to make that change in our lives, and then just completely neglecting to tell us. I paid good money to be there, and that is what I get? Come on Doc, what's the deal here? I was determined that I wouldn't let him get away with it that easy. So I started thinking, I checked my notes, I mentally reviewed what we did and I finally realized it. He DID give to us, but he was sneaky about it. Instead of telling us, he made us experience the answer. The secret was in doing something, something so simple you needed to experience it in order to really get it. He does make things hard sometimes, unlike other people who just give a lecture while you sit down in your chair the whole time taking notes (even if it puts you to sleep), thinking you got all the answers. Continuing on, and realizing how Doc likes to sneak things in, I had to pay extra close attention just in case he decided to pull another stunt like that again. And boy did he ever! Many have fell victim to this next one. You better be careful, because it just might happen to you, too! This is one of Doc's big secrets. Doc loves to tell metaphorical stories, some people sit there an think that those are just fun stories, but there's more. A lot more. Each story has a purpose. One story might be to install joy, or another might be using humor in order to get you past a belief that's holding you back, in order to get you to move towards something you feel good about. Sometimes though, he uses a story to get you to move away from something first, then he gets you to move towards something better. So Doc decided to have us tell stories of our own, which was actually pretty interesting because the drill was to notice what was going on with the person telling the story. Just noticing the different state changes, their energy on a more detailed level was pretty neat. That drill tied in perfectly with the locational anchoring, and that hitting drill we did w/ an uke was really cool. It was actually pretty difficult at first because we were trying to remember to do all those different things at once. Making us stretch ourselves in doing multiple operations at once, I began to realize just how many things one CAN do all at the same time, while consciously noticing all the things we noticed. There was a lot of other things we covered that weekend, including changing the energy of our fuck ups to something positive in 3 seconds or less, secrets of modeling others for YOUR success, secrets of turning on the radiant energies in others and how to turn into your best friend (or whatever 'else' you want) with just a simple hand gesture, secrets of getting a FREE breakfast and having it be a win-win situation for everyone involved. You see, I have so much stuff to cover here, and really not enough time or space to cover it all. I haven't even come close to mentioning what happened on Trainer's day. Fully half of my notes from those 4 days are from Trainer's day alone. Unfortunately for those of you who didn't attend, I think that was the LAST one Doc plans on having. Gone forever. One last thing I am going to cover is that in doing those drills for getting people to bond with you, I noticed something POWERFULLY important. I noticed that I accidentally bonded with them in a special way, and MANY of us left that weekend with great new friends, even if we had known them before! I think that's enough for now, without turning this into a 13 page mini report. All of you who were there, be CONFIDENT, and have FUN!
