Hi Gwenn,

Just thought I'd pop in a personal story here. A story that your story has

reminded me of.

First let me tell you what I and a group of my Black Belts did Sunday evening.

I held a 3 hr workout/class on Reliable and instantly Effective Street Tactics

of self-defense escalation. And I was moving real good. I was kicking real good.

I was throwing them around like they are rag dolls.

But it wasn't that way for the last 11 years...at least until about 9 months

ago.

Let me tell you the story.

I had some weight issues from about 97 until about 9 months ago (start of 2009).

I've been a professional athlete since my teens and a professional trainer since

my late 20's.

As I reached my mid 40's injuries started occuring more and more often. And the

healing took longer and longer.

But through effort I kept my weight around 180-190.

Starting at about 52 I went through a huge amount of injuries in a space of less

than a year. Tore out the knee. Had surgery. Broke L2 because of falling out of

a tree. Tore out my hip. Had muscle cramps after any training session. Broke my

neck in a car wreck, Blab, blab, blab...

I shot up to around 240-245. I stayed around that for about 11

years...rationalizing the 'age' thing, and " I'm too old be be an athlete

anymore " ...

But then while developing the 'Ez Energy Method' off of Feinstein, Gallo,

Carrington, Diepold and Craig's Energy Psychology methods (along with Donna's

Energy Medicine and Bandler's NLP) I started doing specific tapping routines for

the negative EMOTIONS around those specific injuries. The anger at others. The

self-contempt. The fear of getting crippled. Blab, blab, blab.

Cool stuff happened.

Without consciously doing any weight loss drills my weight has dropped down to

200 lbs. I'm moving like I did in my 40's. I'm rolling and falling again. Many

of the skills I 'thought' age had taken away have came back.
