Guest guest
I posted a response on another group and am reposting here > > Crystals and pregnant > > >I understand crystals should not be used with pregnant people. because >They cause the minor chakras to enlarge and can thus cause a miscarriage > >Jenny > I have used crystals in working with many pregnant people both in person and remotely. I have never known crystals to cause a miscarriage. I have never had a person attribute miscarriage to a crystal healing treatment. While on occasion a person using crystals or Energy work will miscarry there is no increased frequency of miscarriage for those using crystals or energy work. I believe there are somewhat fewer miscarriages than the statistical norm among those who use crystals during pregnancy. There probably are minerals which have chemical properties that might cause abortion or miscarriage at extreme dosages ( we don;t usually eat crystals) so one should probably avoid some conventionally made gem elixirs and probably some toxic crystals during pregnancy. As with the idea that Reiki or crystals can cause cancer or improper healing of bones or whatever there is never any evidence that can actually tie Crystals or energy work to that negative effect. For every report of negative effect of a particular kind there are vast numbers of people who had the same treatment under the same conditions and did not have the alleged negative effects. I once broke my toe while wearing a green dress, Does that mean that wearing green dresses causes broken toes? Of course not. Much of the warnings and prohibitions regarding Energy work crystal healing and so forth are the same kind of thing undocumented anecdote and urban legends rather than facts.
