Rather, it highlights the many emotional issues that can have dramatic effects on us physically. The concepts involved here have wide applications. Email Gillian and Visit her website Featured Article #2: Combining EFT with Dialoguing for impressive results: EFT almost always enhances the results of other therapeutic methods and this detailed article by Lena Chen from Singapore is a quality example. She says, "Nearly every time I get the opportunity to use this therapy combination in sessions, my clients report feeling great shifts and they are almost always able to empathize and forgive the offender after that. The best thing is, they also come back in the next session, telling me that not only do they respond differently to the other party, the latter actually behaves differently towards them as well." Suzanne Lerner gives her views on how this could happen using EFT. Email Suzanne and Visit her website Past Articles from the EFT Website Resolving the intense after effects of child birth trauma: Silvia Hartmann-Kent from the UK gives us a professional look at the long term effects (lasting 24 years) of a brief series of birth related traumas and how they turned an otherwise happy, normally adjusted young lady into someone beset with an imposing list of problems. Silvia expertly uses EFT on many of the key parts and, to help us with our study, she separates out the various aspects for us by putting the relevant language in quotes throughout her message. EFT "homework" and other messages: Here are a variety of recent correspondences that help illustrate EFT. While all are useful, I would like to emphasize the importance of "EFT homework" that is involved in Hilary Jupp's message. She had her client tap daily and her result was dramatic improvement across a wide variety of physical ailments. A quality look at "The Apex Effect": Silvia Hartmann-Kent gives us a quality look at "The Apex Effect." This is a good article for showing to disbelieving EFT newbies. It could act like mirror for them and, hopefully, allow them to see their own reflections. In Sylvia's words,"..People affected by the Apex Effect lose their fear, pain, or whatever the symptom was during the treatment, usually entirely, but will not credit the effect to the treatment itself, trying to find other explanations.." EFT aids apparent cancer cure: Dr. Alexander Lees from Canada skillfully applied EFT to "Erin" whose only chance of survival was to have a bone marrow transplant, and she writes a letter at the end of this article. Alex writes about this case in his usual light-hearted humorous style and fills it with insightful gems that serious EFT students will appreciate. Elevator phobia and the feeling of being trapped: Joe Bavonese, a newcomer to EFT, separates an elevator phobia into several aspects and, in the process, finds a core issue (feeling of being trapped) that generalizes over other fears. Total time was 40 minutes. Alzheimer's, "Absent tapping," & other experiences: Catherine O'Driscoll from Scotland uses surrogate tapping (she refers to it as "absent tapping" because it is done over a long distance) in behalf of her father who has Alzheimer's disease. There are some people that cannot (or will not) tap for themselves and/or it is awkward or unrealistic for us to tap for them. In these cases, why not just tap surrogately (even at a long distance) and see what happens? This is what Catherine did.
