Ah... balance! The key to all... <G> It *is* very easy to get caught up in reading, and like you said get stuck in a trap. Everything becomes logical and literal, and you forget to LIVE it! The very essence of the work we do becomes lost... Something I have to remind myself of every day as I have to find more and more space for all my books. ;-) But I couldn't give them up for anything, so it's a bit of a paradox! LOL I guess the key (at least for me) is letting the books get you started, and then start experimenting and letting your intuition kick in. Trusting your feelings is a toughie, it's easy to think that others have been doing it longer so they must know more. I've been doing this for a while now, and I still struggle with that one. <G> For Trish: I would say you're doing everything right and just keep doing what you're doing! Ask questions, continue to experiment, and above all have faith in yourself! Never doubt what you get... even if you get different results from someone else, it doesn't mean either of you are wrong. IMHO, there are no rights and wrongs with crystals! They just *are*! :-) Blessings, Aderyn ~*~
