Crystal Contraindications - Asperger's Syndrome

Hi Peggy,

I would like to mention that one should be very careful with stones

and crystals around people on the Autistic Spectrum. I speak from

years of experience while working with crystals for more than 25

years.

My oldest daughter is 21 and has Asperger's Syndrome which is an

Autistic Spectral Condition. I caretake thousands of crystals and

stones in my home and most of them are carefully put away in drawers.

Many Aspies have a heightened sense of sight, hearing, touch and

smell and can go into Sensory Overload due to Sensory Integration

Dysfunction. In my daughter's case she can sense some crystals 100

feet away. She has come with me to mineral shows while I select

stones and crystals for my business. At one particular show she was

several feet away when I opened a flat of crystals. She immediately

looked up at me and yelled that I had uncovered Lemurians. I had not

looked at the flat at that point and was stunned to look down and see

a flat full of Lemurian Seed Crystals!

I would err on the side of caution when working with an Autistic

person and crystals. Some are just too intense and can cause

migraines and/or meltdowns. I would never point a Laser Wand at my

daughter as it would cause extreme discomfort and Lemurians hurt her

head! Tumbled stones seem to be much gentler.

Blessings,

Annie
