I felt a rock!!!

Hi,

 

I have a pretty big rock collection. Enormous according to my husband,

but I'm sure it's just a fraction of some of yours. I have never been

able to pick up anything from my rocks. I love them all, like they're my

children, but the only impressions I ever got from them was this one is

smooth, this one is pointy. Big bummer.

 

Anyway, I went to a psychic fair last weekend, on the lookout for new

rocks. I am always excited when I go to a psychic fair because I know

there will be tons of lovely rocks, then I'm disappointed when I leave

the psychic fair because I never have enough money to buy all the rocks I

want. This time I only bought 2 rocks because I spent most of my

money on a deck of Wolf Songs cards. One rock is a pretty pink mangano

calcite, and the other is a crystal point from Russia.

 

When I got home I decided to experiment with my newest additions. I

didn't get anything from the mangano calcite, but when I picked up the

Russian crystal and 'asked' it if it had any message for me, I got a

definite feeling from it. Suddenly I felt very sad. I don't know if the

rock was homesick for Russia, or if it missed the other rocks in the box

it had been in, or maybe it was amplifying something from my

subconscious. The feeling didn't last very long, then it went back to

just being a pretty crystal. I felt fine before I tried to pick up

something from the rock, so I think I really did sense something from it.

 

Now, before everybody starts feeling sorry for the sad rock, I don't

think sadness is necessarily a bad thing. You can't appreciate joy until

you know sorrow. If the rock had been happy maybe I wouldn't have noticed

anything.

 

I'm so psyched.
