Fake/Mislabeled Stones

In light of the questions on dealers passing one stone off as another, I have a

question about a recent purchase of my own.

I was drawn to it, and still care for it of course--I'm simply not 100% sure

it's what the seller told me it was. The store I purchased it from has red

covers over their lights, giving the place a sense of effect, LOL. Well, it's a

terrible atmosphere to pick out crystals in!

I purchased a " blue topaz " , assuming that it only looked black because of the

red overhead lighting. I got it home, cleansed it. . .it looks like the tumbled

schorl I purchased from the same place weeks before. I tried putting the

picture in my photo album here, but can't add anything to it for some reason. .

..the option doesn't appear (perhaps because I've changed my ID

name/addy). At any rate, here is the link to the picture, obviously it's the

one in the middle, hehe.

In a city as large as this (Las Vegas) I would honestly think that there would

be a good rock shop--I've yet to find it! I have to make do with the local

occult shop chain and their horrible overhead lighting for now.

Also, does anyone have info on aegirine? I'm wondering if there is some

connection to the sea god Aegir? Thanks!!
