>What can be done with Power Point?

If you rename the file from *.pps to *.ppt (you must be able to see file

extensions to do this), you can open a read-only copy of the file. Note that

Karl has the file password protected, so you cannot make changes to the content

of the file.

From there you can print the slides full-sized or several per page. To print

more than one per page, choose Handouts from the " Print what " drop down menu on

the Print dialog box. (Choose File, Print to get this rather than clicking the

print icon).

I got it. Thank you Karl.

Now, I really don't know what to do with it, since it is on the computer and I

don't carry my computer with me.

Karl did do a real good job though.

So I still use the FREE EFT manual that I downloaded from Gary Craig's site,

www.emofree.com, and then printed out and used until I'd memorized it.

So...

Thank you Kathy,

I'll need to tap out apprehension and " oh shit " before I do any of

that.

Then I'll need a reason to " do it " before I can " do it " .

Isn't life great.

Sincerely,

a real huggy feely kinesthetic.

Hi Dr John,

The purpose of the manual is for newcomers to EFT to get and idea of the how, what and whys concerning EFT. Also for therapists to use as a tool to help their clients with homework, locating the points and educating and saving time for telephone clients, maybe to use as a teaching presentation. You may fall in the middle of these categories if your not a practitioner of EFT nor new to it as a self help tool.

It is not meant to replace Gary's emofree manual which contains a large amount of info my manual is just an outline to get started with EFT.

Hope this helps

Best wishes, Karl.

Hi Doc and all;

I think, " What extra benefits are there to this power point

presentation of EFT over just the manual? " is what Doc is asking.

The question, " what are the benefits of using powerpoint? " is much

too broad and nowhere near specific enough. For instance there are

many advantages for me to use power point to present data at a

scientific meeting such as animations of a time evolving theoretical

calculation.

I doubt that the ability to show an animation about the time

evolution of THz generation in a crystal such as ZnTe is important to

Doc. I suspect he really wanted to know what benefits and useful

information he could get from seeing the EFT information presented in

such a more visual format than over the standard manual.

I believe he is looking for a reason to open the file and study it,

not a validation of why one would want to use powerpoint.

I don't think that he is aware of how many uses there are for power

point as I find I am not aware of all the uses or tools even after

using it for years. Nor do I think any of this is important to him.

And that is okay.

If I thought it would really help my friend i would give him the

benefits to him for using power point. As to the file in question,

until I view it i can't answer his real question.

Does anyone have an answer to my version of his question?

Thanks to all;

Walter Hurlbut

PS it's good to hear from Richard and Dr. Vetter.

I would like to post a lot more off of Richard's earlier post that

actually resonated with something I've been thinking about for

awhile. I have been watching a lot of blamer mode games in the news

and in real life lately. The judeo-christian ethic of scape-goats and

the fact this practice is not only lingering but appears to be

growing says something to me. any thoughts guys? I look forward to

posting mine later tonight or tomorrow morning.

Power point is an additional teaching tool for me. I had just reread

the basic manuel with the intent of teaching

a short introduction into eft and the power point presentation fits

almost perfectily with what I want to go

over.

And walter's next part resonates with me also. Can you help a person

enough that doesn't want to help

them selves? Can you ever do enough for someone that doesn't want to do

anything for themselves?

Are there reasons that they should be helped.

Just courious

Tommy
