Guest guest
Hi GG I practice Shiatsu and i use a Ryodoraku machine as a diagnostic tool, i designed my own system to plot the results on a computer and follows some of the indications for treatment - sepcially in case of huge imbalance between some meridians - however, i am nt an acupuncturist and do not use needles but works on the points by hand. What specific information are you looking for ? Guest guest
Thanks. As far as the needles go, I've done it. I could do the ones when I laid on my stomach and had tremendous back pain that acupunture really helped. However, when I had a life threatening illness, even that could not help me lay on my back and receive the acupuncture on my front side peacefully. Nope. Not for me. Ever. Guest guest
Bernie: You need to locate the acupoints fairly correctly, some machines can do diagnostics to help locate points, apparently. There is no puncturing of the skin. Then follow directions for turning on power, to prescribed levels for periods of 15-30 minutes. Electroacupuncture is available only for certain treatments, not as many as traditional needle acupuncture.
