Thank I've had (and seen) good results with DU 23 for ANY sinus congestion in the head- I use ST8 if it's more phlegm and heavyness in the head- SJ 17 if ears are clooges- LI 20 to Bi tong if nose or UB2 to Yu Yao if there is retrobulbar pain due to conjestion. I've used them all at once, and had them done to me all at once- It seems to help with stubborn conjestion problems. I've had other students/ supervisors always use ST 3/ GB 8. I think palpating to see where the most pressure is is key. There are also some really good formulas for children (and adults) that get chronic ear infections and are constantly put on antibiotocs. Have them open their mouth for St.7 and the ear points. It is also helpful to have them use a saline solution which must be used as drops 2 X's a day as nose drops for 30 days. This is a Kiko protocol and is good for everyone. The bacteria of the sinus keep alive in the pockets that run from the nose to the ears and must be flushed out with saltwater type solutions. Sprays do not work. NETI pots work. There is also a major Divergent Treatment Strategy for clearing long term chronic sinus problems. This is more tricky to do and do explain by email. So that's it for now. I also strengthen SP and Lu that would be by pattern. Let me know if this is helpful and if you are still having problems.
