Guest guest Posted October 23, 2001 Report Share Posted October 23, 2001 I was wondering if anyone who has treated patients with HIV/aids, has had success with reinforcing Earth. One of my professors discussed the ideas behind strengthening the GU, or ST/SP in person's with severe illness. The idea (in a few words) is that if your digestive system is functioning properly, you are able to easily take in and produce more qi for your body, maintaining yourself. Being able to make qi, and nourish you system will help you body function better. This also has a hand in dealing with the chronic diarrhea and other digestive issues that go along with AIDS. Has anyone followed this practice, or any other when treating patients with AIDS or other severe illnesses? I'd like to hear about it... Thanks!
