Guest guest
Dear Penny, How delightful... I was just thinking about moving to Austin in a year or so to practice Acupuncture. Is there much competition there? How's the market for these kinds of services? As far as I know, you can hire, rent space to, barter, etc, etc to any nationally licensed acupuncturist. What you need to make sure of is that they pay for their own malpractice insurance or check with yours (do you need some as a massage therapist) to see if they would also be covered. Marilyn Allen @ http://www.acupuncturecouncil.com could perhaps provide you with more information. There is also the issue of hiring a company to depose of the used needles which are single use and then go into a sealed medical waste bin.. I think that's pretty much it... All my best, Maija Merchant
