Guest guest Posted January 14, 2009 Report Share Posted January 14, 2009 Good Day Brothers and Sisters, Its Wednesday, 14th January 2008 Hello My dear Brothers and Sisters, Good Morning and a Great New Day full of laughter, joy and peace to you all, And a Happy Makar Sankranti to you all The year 2008 has made way for 2009 and today the Gods awaken in Uttarayan (The period from 22nd December to 21st June is considered as the daytime for Gods in Hindu mythology while the the next 6 months are night time when the demonic forces get the upper hand) That is why all the wars and terrorists activities take place during these 6 month periods .. in case anyone is noticing ... Have I ?? Well, only to some extent ... to be truthful ... The lessons learnt from it are that to accomplish something, there has to be a sense of urgency in oneself ... Remember how much you manage to do if you have a deadline And its always as you reach that deadline that the pressure begins to force the movement ... exams anyone??? Last year, I had sent a composite issue about both Lohri, the festival celebrated in my homestate of Punjab every year on the 13th January followed by Makar Sankranti .. This year, Nothing, Nada, Zilch ... Something had changed ...?? Hope so and pray for the better ... (Well, there is one wee little gift - a small 50KB ebook on 50 ways to save time .. and a january wallpaper ... and a touching PPS presentation and an ebook on Tweaking your computer ... ulp .. and ... I guess I can't help myself from sharing with you all ... ... Somethings are better not changed ... Hope you like these small gifts) I hope to see changes in content and some layout .. I intend to see that this year the pace picks up and that the content is more useful and cutting edge ... I will need your feedback in this regard ... as usual ... Well, that's the plan and the idea anyway ... coz' Man Proposes and God disposes () Anyway, this is my introductory mail after the hiatus (know what it means ... ?? hiatus .. Let me know if you don't and I'll put it in the word of the day section) Lets hope 2009 will be more gentle in teaching lessons and that we are eager stuents who cover greater ground in our march to our Salvation in heaven ....
