I have pasted it below in the event that it may be useful to you in some way. I'm glad to see someone talking about the fulgurites. I have always appreciated these stone spirits a great deal and don't see too many people discussing them to any meaningful degree. With love for all, Fabeku Caretaker, Crystal_Spirit crystal_spirit/ <post> Fulgurites - This stone continues to me amaze me. The way it forms is really incredible. Fulgurites, a part of a larger group of natural glasses called lechatelierites, forms when lightning strikes sand (quartz) and then fuses the sand together in the path and pattern of the lightning strike. This forms a hollow tube down the center of most fulgurites, which is the actual path that the lightning traveled! They range in size from 1/4 " to a foot or more, but most piecs are fairly small (3 " or less) because they are fairly fragile. In essence, these are crystalline lightning! Fulgurites are profound and powerful agents of change. Sometimes we need that " lightning strike " to get moving in our lives, to shake loose the old and embrace the new. They can help us embrace sudden, often dramatic changes when we need them. They can, on a daily level, help us remain motivated and moving strongly in the right direction. They can, at times, be akin to the Tower Card in the Tarot deck and can help us understand sometimes why things crumble beneath our feet. They are deeply shamanic stones and embody a range of possibility that's awe- inspiring. They're some of the most powerful stones for shamanic journeying, the tube acting as the gateway/passage through which the person travels. They are very powerful for communication with the spirits, both in divinatory and revelatory ways. They can help activate latent " psychic " potential within the self, along with awakening unused parts of our brain/higher mind structures as well.
