how can you use the MD's model of the world to help Harry?

What might happen if a " group of doctors " he respects and trusts talked to him

while he was asleep at night? And what if they used his convincer strategy for

how he knows something is true? And what if they used his location for a place

of safety and security?

 

I don't know if you would use the dr. he has now or not, but maybe there is a

dr. he had when he was a kid that he trust absolutely. Maybe that dr. knows of

several cases where people did X, Y, & Z and they got cured, but only because of

their strong desire, their belief, and the fact that they took action on that to

do X, Y, & Z.

 

Would you want the dream buried in his SCM? Or would you want to program it so

he would be aware of it when he wakes up and his conscious mind gets to

experiences some of the strong emotion from it too. Would you use 1 dream? Or

multiple dreams?

Based on the additional information you posted after

this, I wouldn't bother doing it that way.

 

Based on the original question as a hypothetical I

would assume ...

 

1. He's a client of mine.

2. He has some idea of what I do.

 

So the " how " part on starting with his current belief

system is feeding his words back to him.

 

" So, do you want to stop it from getting worse? "

 

It's not a yes/no question ... I wouldn't be listening

for the content of his answer as much as listening,

feeling, watching for " is he open to receiving further

information from me? "

In the original context I would use the MD's model of

" you can only stop it from getting worse " to re-frame

any intervention.

 

An example would be recommending the 5-minute energy

workout " because it's been shown to stop your immune

system from getting worse. "

level to do that
