As you've mentioned 'he's' done a lot of riding, and you've not done much. So you are comparing what he is able to do with what you either do poorly, or can not yet do. Not good for becoming proficient. Remember the 3 steps. 1. Attitude And your attitude is more about your negative emotions. So, what do you do to erase those, install what you want instead, and anchor in prosequence? You know. You were here. 2. The strategies and Tactics Rusty gave you some. What I always do (since I'm Metal) is find a great book on it (or DVD) by a world class expert that can teach at my level. I learn his tactics of bicycle balance, etc. And with right attitude and tactics, you can do wonders VERY QUICKLY, especially when you add in the 3rd step. 3. Then YOUR behavior. Practice daily, but in small chunks. Remember that to reach mastery level of peak performance tasks and to have them become habits takes between 2,000 to 5,000 repetitions. You can shorten that with visualization at alpha AFTER you know what you are supposed to be doing and have not yet achieved. If you don't know what you should be doing, if you visualize at alpha you will probably be hallucination. Exception: put on the head of a bicycle expert and feel how he feels, than add that feeling to your own visualiztions. Have fun. John La Tourrette, PhD PS. Gee, I wonder how we could simply and easily use the above for ANY healing task? Group, want to jump in?
