Guest guest
Hi: I was just accepted into this group and wanted to join for a few reasons. I've had some chronic health problems for many years as a result of alot of stressors that pushed my immune system over the edge-was Dx with Post-Viral Syndrome-(for what it's worth) and then started a rollercoaster ride through some degree of fatigue but more so panic, anxiety, terror and a host of physical issues. I started with western medicine, and then got into alternative medicine and eventually worked my way into energy healing. I'm a psychotherapist and have been fortunate enough to have some colleagues who initially led me into a variety of forms of healing. I am familiar and have used quite a bit: EFT ( and some associated forms of work like BSFF and TAT); Donna Eden's work; Qigong though in my case I found removing what isn't supposed to be there instead of adding chi seemed to be more conducive to healing for me. So I learned a form of qigong-CFQ(CHaoyi Fanyuan Qigong)- that seems to work well with my body; I've also used crystals; have been treated with the Feinberg Technique ($$!!); jin shin, some shaman healing, well alot of stuff...I also do alot of spiritual reading and do a spontaneous movement meditation that I find helpful. I found with my body that my nervous system is quite sensitive, so I need to be careful in not bringing in too much outside energy. Either on my own or from other healers. I know from chinese medicine that the liver controls functioning of the peripheral nervous system so physically I think something energetically is going on in the liver/gb area that is making it challenging to heal. Obviously, there's also something going on spiritually I have not uncovered as yet. I am also here to learn some more to apply to my work with others. My most recent interest has been to find out more about using the earth's magnetic field for healing. So I look forward to hearing what successes others are having, how it may apply to me, and welcome ideas. Regards, Sam
